My art is inspired by my observations from pop culture, movies, nature, graffiti, antique photographs, vintage advertising, world cultures, textiles, wallpapers; pretty much anything. I am self taught, and have been drawing since I was a small child. In my current body of work, I have tried to capture all of the small details, bright colors, shapes, and lines found in my every day life. When I create art it frees me of all of my stress, craziness, ongoing thoughts and ideas that seem to jam up my brain on a daily basis. My hope is that this small body of work enables the viewer to stop and smell the roses so to speak and take notice of all of the details and colors surrounding their everyday lives. I had a great time creating these pieces and I hope you enjoy the outcome of my blossoming artistic journey.
